Energy Materials and Devices (ISSN 3005-3315), an English open access journal launched by Tsinghua University, focuses on basic research, technological innovation, achievement transformation and industrialization in the field of energy materials and devices.

The journal published its first issue in September 2023. The first issue consists of 10 articles including 1 editorial, 4 reviews and 5 research articles featuring lithium ion battery, potassium ion battery, zinc ion battery, solid state battery, super capacitor, electro catalysis, electrochemical drive, & etc. All the articles are published in open access form and can be viewed via https://www.sciopen.com/journal/3005-3315.

The editorial board of Energy Materials and Devices is made up of 28 well-known scholars from all over the world, including 11 Chinese and foreign academicians with international prestige and global impact. Professor KANG Feiyu is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal. And the first issue has attracted authors from Germany, Australia, the United Arab Emirates and China.
