On October 15, 2025, Tsinghua University Press (TUP) and ACC Science Publishing (ASP) signed the translation license agreement for the English version of Case-control Analysis of PET/CT Versus PET/MR in Gynecological Malignancies and Innovation of Diagnosis &Treatment in Anesthesiology at the Frankfurt Book Fair. This collaboration helps bring China's cutting-edge medical research to international attention.

CHEN Zhaowei, Vice President of TUP, delivers the opening remarks.
The signing ceremony was hosted by SHI Lei, Associate General Editor of TUP. Mr. CHEN Zhaowei, Vice President of TUP, opened the event with a speech titled “Exploring the Frontiers of Imaging Technology and Innovative Anesthesiology”. He highlighted the critical role of modern imaging in diagnosing gynecologic tumors and noted the growing potential of anesthesiology in pioneering new methods for precision and personalized medicine. Mr. Chen emphasized that publishing these works in English will help advance global women's healthcare and innovation of anesthesiology, reinforcing the international reach of Chinese medical expertise.

LI Zhaolin, the General Manager of ASP, celebrated the partnership between the two publishers. He emphasized that the cooperation is rooted in a mutual commitment to academic rigor and a shared goal of advancing science, dedicated to bringing Chinese insights to the forefront of global clinical technology. He expressed enthusiasm for future collaborations and his belief that this partnership will be a dynamic launchpad for a future brimming with potential, eagerly anticipating working with TUP to deliver more top-tier academic publications in English.

AN Jianxiong, the author of Innovation of Diagnosis & Treatment in Anesthesiology, emphasized via video speech that the book's focus on innovation. Unlike traditional anesthesiology, which often follows a nursing-based management model, this book explores innovative applications of anesthesiological principles and techniques in diagnosing and treating diseases. The author believes that publishing an English version will not only promote the field's innovative concepts and technologies but also facilitate the cross-border exchange of knowledge, inspiring new intellectual exchanges and collisions of ideas.

Case-control Analysis of PET/CT Versus PET/MR in Gynecological Malignancies centers on specialized conditions such as gynecologic malignancies, emphasizing the interpretation of their imaging manifestations via PET/CT and PET/MRI. PET/CT and PET/MR, by integrating information from different modalities, not only provide clearer visualization of lesion morphology and structure, but also reveal the biological characteristics of tumors, thereby offering data support for clinical decision-making. This book provides a detailed introduction to the PET/CT and PET/MR imaging features of cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancers across different FIGO stages, with a focus on the similarities and differences observed in the same cases under various imaging modalities.

Innovation of Diagnosis &Treatment in Anesthesiology offers a systematic overview of the theoretical foundations and clinical applications of anesthesiology in treating refractory diseases. It provides a detailed introduction to the novel theories, emerging technologies, latest research findings, and clinical practice in the field of anesthetic therapeutics. It addresses central nervous system diseases, peripheral nerve disorders, and systemic complex disorders amenable to treatment through anesthesiological principles, with a special emphasis on functional refractory diseases. This book fills a gap in the clinical literature on managing complex conditions with anesthesiological therapies and serves as a valuable resource for clinicians in anesthesiology, pain medicine, and related specialties.
