The 34th National Book Expo was held from July 24 to 27 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, under the theme "Fragrance of Books, Beauty of Reading". The event was hosted by the National Press and Publication Administration and organized by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government.

As one of the expo's nine featured exhibitions, "Academic China—Outstanding Publications in the Chinese intellectual system" highlighted the new theories and practices related to Chinese modernization. A selection of titles published by Tsinghua University Press (TUP), whose foreign-language rights have been licensed to international publishers, was showcased at the exhibition, demonstrating the global reach of Chinese academic achievements.

To date, TUP has licensed over 1,500 titles in more than 30 languages to publishers across North America, Europe and Asia while forging long-term partnerships with world-renowned academic publishers, including Springer Nature and Elsevier, consistently advancing international exchanges in education, academia and culture.
